Supporting your emotional well-being with empathy, experience, and understanding.

With over 5 years of experience as a psychologist, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through their most vulnerable and transformative moments. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, emotional stress, or simply feel disconnected from yourself, I’m here to help you navigate through it with compassion and care. This space is for you — to be heard, supported, and gently guided toward greater self-understanding.

my academic

My educational background and techniques I use in my psychological counseling and therapy

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where I developed a strong foundation in psychological research, neurocognitive science, and the workings of the human brain.
After my studies, I worked with individuals on the autism spectrum, gaining valuable experience in supporting neurodivergent people and deepening my understanding of diverse cognitive and emotional needs. Later, I pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin. Since then, I have been working in psychological counseling, supporting individuals through a wide range of personal and emotional challenges.
In my therapeutic work, I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques. I also integrate psychodynamic approaches — exploring past experiences, defense mechanisms, and the protective patterns we develop as human beings. Together, we look at how these patterns might still serve you today — or how they might be holding you back.

my History

My Journey as a psychologist

2017 – 2021

The Science Years & First Clinical Experiences

After finishing my academic studies and conducting research in neuroscience, my world was deeply rooted in science and evidence-based knowledge. But I soon felt the urge to work directly with people. I started working with individuals on the autism spectrum in Austria and the Netherlands. These years were not only my first hands-on experiences with clients, but also opened my eyes to how neurodivergence is viewed across cultures. It laid the groundwork for how I approach difference—with curiosity, empathy, and openness.

2021 – 2024

Working With Kids, Adults & Families – Across Continents

During this time, I supported children, adults, and families by offering psychosocial support in a variety of settings. Later, I had the opportunity to work in South Africa, where I provided psychological counseling. This experience shaped my understanding of resilience and healing in culturally diverse and resource-limited environments. I also worked online, supporting clients through platforms like BetterHelp—yes, it was sometimes complicated, but it gave me valuable insight into digital mental health care.

2024 – Now

Digital Tools, Chronic Pain & Building Safe Spaces

Recently, I’ve worked at a startup focused on helping individuals with social anxiety through a mental health app, and in a clinical setting supporting people living with chronic pain. These roles deepened my appreciation for how psychological and physical suffering often intertwine. Alongside this, I continue to offer therapy sessions online, combining everything I’ve learned—from neuroscience to cross-cultural care—to create spaces that are warm, respectful, and genuinely human.
